Since this is a relatively small school of Agriculture, there is only one faculty – Agriculture. These are the courses offered in the institution according to the latest official copy of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR AUDU BAKO COURSES – 2015/2016

Even though it doesn’t happen often, admission requirements can change at anytime. Candidates seeking admission into Audu Bako College of Agric are hereby advised to always check their brochure to verify the admission requirements before applying.

Below are the O’level (WAEC/NECO/GCE) requirements for each programme and JAMB UTME subjects.

AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY

O’ Level (SSCE) Requirements 

Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics and any three of the following:

  • Geography,
  • Food and Nutrition,
  • Economics,
  • Technical Drawing,
  • English Language,
  • Physics,
  • Chemistry,
  • Nigerian Language,
  • Home Economics.

At least credit passes in English Language and Chemistry are compulsory.

JAMB Subjects Combination

Biology/Agric. Sci, Chemistry and any other Science subject

AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING/TECHNOLOGY

O’ Level (SSCE) Requirements

Mathematics, English Language, Physics and any two of the following:

  • Biology/Agricultural Science
  • Chemistry
  • Technical Drawing
  • Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity
  • Auto Mechanics
  • Metal Work
  • Further Mathematics
  • Food and Nutrition
  • Geography

JAMB Subjects Combination

Mathematics and Physics/Technical Drawing, Chemistry or any two Science subjects.

ANIMAL HEALTH AND PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY

O’ Level (SSCE) Requirements

  • Same as in Agricultural Technology

JAMB Subjects Combination

  • Same as in Agricultural Technology

FORESTRY TECHNOLOGY

O’ Level (SSCE) Requirements

Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and any two subjects from:

  • Biology/Agricultural Science
  • Technical Drawing,
  • Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity,
  • Auto Mechanics,
  • Metal Work, Woodwork (for Civil Engineering Tech.),
  • Further Mathematics
  • English Language, Geography,
  • Economics/Commerce.

For Marine Engineering and Industrial Safety & Environmental Engineering a pass in Biology is required. At least a credit pass in English Language is required.

JAMB Subjects Combination

Mathematics and any two of Chemistry, Physics or Technical Drawing.
