UNIUYO DECLARES LECTURE FREE DAYS AS POST UTME STARTS NEXT WEEK, JULY 30TH 2014; AN IMPENDING LECTURE FREE WEEK IN SIGHT. 2013/2014 FIRST SEMESTER EXAMINATION TIMETABLE ALLEGEDLY CHANGED!

The notice below is available on the notice board in school already. But for the benefit of those who might not have been aware, it is again repeated here. See below:
This is to inform all academic staff and the students of the University of Uyo that the Vice-chancellor

has approved Wednesday, 30th July to Friday, 1st August 2014 as lecture-free days to enable the University to conduct the screening exercise for 2014/2015 POST-UTME candidates.

Accordingly, all lectures and other academic activities earlier scheduled for Wednesday, 30th July to Friday, 1st August 2014 should be suspended. Lectures and other academic activities will resume thereafter.
Thank you.
Mrs. Edak U. Umondak
REGISTRAR.
In a related development, given that Monday July 28th is a public holiday, we have it that Tuesday, July 29th is the only lecture day in the school. This could be a good development for some student, and a bad one for others, even as the examinations for the semester have been purportedly moved to August 12th against the initial August 4th. By your own estimation is this ok? Just air your opinion below. We love to hear from you.
